Grey Sparrow Press holds First North American and World Wide Serial Rights for online and print publications once an agreement for publication is established. Status will be communicated via e-mail promptly. New submissions by a published Sparrow author should not be sought until one year after publication.
All rights to Grey Sparrow Journal, Snow Jewel Journal and published books by Grey Sparrow Press are reserved with Grey Sparrow Press. No part of all Grey Sparrow Press publications may be reproduced or distributed in any form by any means, or stored in a database or retrieval system, without the prior written consent of Grey Sparrow Press, including, but not limited to, any network or other electronic means of transmission, or broadcast for distance learning. ©Individual copyrights remain with writers, artists, and photographers for their respective work. When attribution of photography and/or art is not offered, the work comes from the public domain. Grey Sparrow, in 2017, paid a modest fee to copy editors for books. The remaining staff offers their services on a voluntary basis for one year including Grey Sparrow and Snow Jewel editors.
Archives
A database is available that lists prior publications with Grey Sparrow Press under “Archives” and “Publications.” Work prior to Issue 31 may not be linked. Approximately two weeks out of the month is invested in a growing, voluminous database of writing. Should a contributor not be able to locate a citation for publication in the archives, please contact dsdianefuller@gmail.com
Use and Sharing of Personal Information
We may send certain mandatory service communications such as letters of consideration and acceptance and operation notices.
