In the desert wind, Earth’s handle
slips from Sky’s grasp,
but its voice, like a magnet, grips
this moment firm, and won’t let go.
Depicted on Utah license plates, Delicate Arch has become an iconic symbol of the Southwest. It was not included in the original park boundaries.
